Any process absolutely hinges on having a set of guidelines or blueprints if you want any hope of going from point A to point B successfully.

If you think you somehow inherently know what to do first if you are at the beginning of any task without expert tutelage, you're wrong !

The blueprint for success also has a large element of faith associated with it.  That aspect of truth that you won't entirely understand why you're doing something in the beginning of a process but when you reach the end, you will.  It can't happen in any other way.  You have to have trust in the blueprints and this is where an experienced Architect's abilities forge the correct path for you to follow.
